Report: IAEA-TECDOC-825
Date of Release: 1995
IAEA-NO-3 is a dried salt (potassium nitrate, KNO3) and was prepared by A. Mariotti,
Université Pierre and Maria Curie, Paris, France, between 1983 and 1985 [1, 2]. Its δ15N value
is determined using data from an interlaboratory comparison exercise [3].
| Analyte | Value | Unit | SD | R/I/C |
| δ15N | +4.7 | air N2 | 0.2 | C |
| δ18O | +25.6 | VSMOW | 0.4 | R |
(N) Number od accepted laboratory mean which are used to calculate the recommended or information values and their respective confidence intervals
(R/I/C) Classification assigned to the property value for analyte (Recommended/Information/Certified)
