IAEA-SO-6 barium sulfate was prepared by R. Krouse, University of Calgary, Canada, and S.Halas, University of Lublin, Poland, by precipitation from sulfate solutions. The isotopic δ³⁴S value of the reference material IAEA-SO-6 is the result of the statistical evaluation of an inter-comparison exercise.
