Materials with known 2H, 13C, 15N and 18O isotopic composition

IAEA-600, Caffeine

Unit Size: 0.5 g
Price per Unit: 130 €
Date of Release: 2004

IAEA-600 was prepared by W. Brand and R. Werner, Max-Planck-Institute for Biogeochemistry, Jena, Germany from commercially produced pure caffeine. Its recommended δ13C value was determined in an international calibration exercise [1]. For this reference material the δ15N value war determined in one laboratory only and therefore is only an information value.
